Suchitra Sen's biography Mahanayika launched

Another book on the late Bengali silver screen symbol Suchitra Sen offers a peep into the life of the subtle performing artist through uncommon photos, imitation of notices and bits of knowledge offered by prestigious producers.

Titled Mahanayika (extraordinary performer), the 500-page book was discharged on February 16 and has review on Sen by chief Ritwik Ghatak, Ajay Kar and Asit Sen, among others.

It likewise conveys an article by Suchitra Sen's biographer and companion Gopal Krishna Roy.

"Other than photos and publications, there is a gathering of news clippings reporting her demise," Roy, who was available at the dispatch, told IANS.

The 82-year-old on-screen character kicked the bucket at a nursing home on a January 17 taking after a gigantic heart failure.
