Actress Gita De passed away
Commended performer Gita De, who earned applause and prominence for assuming character parts in about 200 Bengali movies and shows, kicked the bucket at the city doctor's facility after a long ailment. She was 80 years of age.
Her family said that a couple of days prior she was admitted to a doctor's facility where she passed on before the end of last night.
Acting since she was six, De made her imprint in the film Ahuti coordinated by praised producer Dhiren Ganguly (famously known as DG).
